PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Gentlemen,
It
is with pleasure that I address you once again as President for the 2010-2011 season. I
will strive to ensure that Hillsboro once again achieves a high level of competitiveness in
all grades.
The
condition of the Greens are still improving thanks to the work of Mike Galloway,
Ivan Botica and their team of volunteers. The
improvements are continuous and are well received. New shelters and upgrades
around the Greens have also made playing at Hillsboro a pleasure.
Socially
our new Thursday Night functions run by Perry Meinung and his team is gathering
momentum week by week, this momentum has continued with Friday Night Housie patronage
grown well beyond our expectations. With new faces trying our facilities and
three new poker machines soon to be installed, a great atmosphere has evolved so
please utilise our facilities.
Your
Executive Committee is endeavouring to provide social bowls to cater for all
players whether they are casual or full time players.
The
incoming Executive has a cross section of experienced and refreshing new faces,
which will bring this Cub into the 21st Century. It is an exciting time for us
all, please support them whenever possible.
A

without them your club would not function the way it does.
